At Nannies on a Mission, our nannies are confident being sole charge for a child’s physical, emotional and developmental needs and partnering parents to provide education and care for your children.

Your Nanny will blend in with your family seamlessly, entertaining your children away from TV and screens by engaging in fun activities that promote self-development. We connect with your children from when we first arrive, by bringing great activities to do together.

Having someone who cares about your family as much as you do, is priceless!

Always striving to go above and beyond, your Nanny has :

  • Public Liability insurance
  • At least 2 years childcare experience
  • Current Working with Children Blue card
  • A Police clearance
  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • Been personally, assessed on their character, childcare skills and thoroughly reference checked

We can provide a Nanny to look after your children or a complete service of light housekeeping, cooking healthy meals, PA duties and childcare including before/after school care.

To provide safe, interactive childcare our temporary Nannies are booked at the ratio of 1 Nanny:4 Children. Children must be siblings of varied ages and from the one family.


Our nannies become your extended family members, rather than just a babysitter. Someone who genuinely cares for the development, safety and happiness of your child/children.

NANNY OR FAMILY ASSISTANT

Our Nannies are the perfect nanny for the family that needs short term, casual childcare for appointments, events, date nights etc and can also offer additional services of a family assistant including before/after school care, light housekeeping, meal prep and more.

  • 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on an hourly or daily basis
  • All bookings are a minimum of 4 hours.
  • $45 per hour + $50 daily booking fee
  • Public Holidays/New Year's Eve $10 per hour surcharge - invoiced separately.

**All of our nanny services are available whether you live in Cairns or are here for work or holidays. Our Nannies work from your location as required.
